At present for the installation of accessories in pipes can be implemented an interconnection by means of a hot-cut insertion valve, this process is commonly referred to as: Hot tapping, its main advantage is that it is not necessary to suspend the flow of fluids during the repair or annexation of accessories, which allows to maintain control, service and safety of hydraulic system.
For its process, the perforating machine is placed on the back of the pipe, which will execute a hole in the designated site and thus make the installation of the coupling on which the insertion valve is placed, by welding.
Process for your installation:
• Weld a coupling to the pipe to be drilled, then install the valve hermetically.
• Already installed the valve is placed the drilling machine and proceed to the perforation.
• Already made the perforation and removed the cut, the drilling equipment is removed
• The process is finished with the valve changing the direction of flow to begin with repairs in the section of disabled tube.
